 ‘production’

Production Assistant X 2
Position based in London, UK.

We are looking for dynamic, flexible team players to provide on-location and in-house support to the production team in London. The ideal candidates will play a big role in the success of the company, making sure our activities and efforts within our core team are organised and on track. These persons will work closely within the office, and occasionally on location, on set, on a variety of tasks, including location management. Candidates must have exceptional communications skills, possess the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively with frequent interruptions, and work productively in a fast paced, and hectic organisation. This person must be flexible with changing job requirements as we move from pre-production to shooting to post. Opportunities are there to develop and nurture your interests in all areas of tv and new media produution.

Responsibilities:
  • Administrative tasks include managing schedules, calendar, phone and email; making location, permit and licensing arrangements; providing administrative support to in-house production, tracking production schedules, (must be comfortable with currency conversions); coordinating weekly team meetings and group events; maintaining contact databases and team/vacation calendars; participating in key projects.
  • Must be able to assist and manage preparation of daily shoot sheets, checklists, equipment hire etc. Must be extremely organised.
Experience/Education:
  • At least 12 month experience supporting a team in a fast paced, production environment, or demonstrable equivalent experience within a production environment.
  • A levels or degree preferred.
  • Proven mastery of Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. MS Project a bonus.
  • Must be experienced in using the Internet as a daily research tool.
  • Interest and experience in interacting with all levels and departments within a production office, including liaising with broadcasters, local authorities, crew and cast.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
